Carl Renshaw
Carl is the Managing Director and Founder of the Company. Carl was introduced to ‘Occupational Hygiene’ in the form of Ventilation Engineering, Air, Dust and Gas Monitoring, and Environmental Control over 30 years ago whilst working for the National Coal Board and later British Coal in the deep mined Coal fields.

Rick George Green
Rick gained the MSc in Occupational Hygiene in 1990 and the Certificate of Operational Competence in Occupational Hygiene in 1986. Rick has specialised in this field; Workplace Noise and Vibration, Environmental Noise, Assessment and Control of Airborne Hazardous Dusts, Fumes, Vapours, Mists and LEV testing and evaluation for over 30 years. Rick’s main hobby is small aircraft and he has a pilot’s licence. He enjoys flying around the UK and Europe from his base airfield in Newark upon Trent.

Alex T Smedley
Alex is the Company’s youngest Occupational Hygienist, who in his twenties, has a bright future ahead of him. Alex has studied BOHS’s modules in Occupational Hygiene and is determined to achieve the Certificate and Diploma in Operational Competence in Occupational Hygiene through BOHS, and MSc in Occupational Hygiene over the next few years.

Antony J Smedley

Neil J Fenwick
Neil is the most recent member of the team, having joined in April 2016. Prior to that he had worked for British Coal Scientific Services and its successor companies on privatisation (TES Bretby, ESG) for almost 39 years.
